Children’s Book Activity: Dragons Love Tacos

We’re so excited to share our next collection of book activities! This week we had so much fun exploring Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin & Daniel Salmieri.

We always try to use all 5 senses during a reading of a book to engage the students. Here’s what we did with Dragons Love Tacos!

5-senses-dragonsSee: We looked at different kinds of Salsa, taco shells, and this puppet from IKEA

Smell: We smelled taco seasoning, salsa, and taco shells

Taste: We tasted the dragon’s favorite taco toppings! Salsa, lettuce, tomato, and cheese.

Hear: We crunched taco shells (inside a bag) and talked about how it sounded.

Feel: We felt taco shells, salsa, and our dragon puppet

Below we have links to the activities we did in connection with this book. We hope you have fun exploring with your little learners!
