Rainbow Noodles

Never played with your food? NOW is the time! Make rainbow noodles while reading "Strega Nona"!

Messy, but oh-so-fun, this sensory activity is full of noodles and meant to accompany a reading of Strega Nona. A bin full of noodles and a rainbow of paint colors and you are ready to make some pretty magical pasta!

Materials:

  1. Cooked spaghetti
  2. Tray or Bin
  3. Colored Paint
  4. Paintbrushes and Sponges
  5. Optional: Kids Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Fill the tray with noodles
  2. Provide bowls of paint with sponges and paint brushes
  3. Optional: Place some scissors in the tray so the kids can practice their cutting skills on the pasta!
  4. Let the kids play and explore!
