Conversation Heart Graphing

Science can be fun! How many of each color of conversation hearts do you have in your box? Do this while reading Love Monster!

When it comes to science, it’s pretty important to know how to organize data. After reading Love Monster, we decided it would be fun to combine science with a little love (and some math, too) and practice our graphing skills! We used SweeTarts but you can use any candy hearts with our free worksheet!

Materials needed:

  1. Candy hearts
  2. This graphing page, printed & laminated

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Color the hearts along the bottom of the page to correspond with the colors in your box
  2. Graph the hearts
  3. Color the graph using the heart color in that column
  4. Answer the questions on the second page
