Grab colored baby and a marker and you’re ready to play this reading game. Since the game involves colors, we thought it would be a fun one to play with Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
- Colored Paper: At least 3 varieties. 2 full sheets of each.
- Cut one sheet of each color into flashcards.
- Write the letters or words the child is working on on the cards.
- The objective is to read the word, then match the colored card to an object (or paper) of the same color. You can place the full-color sheets on the table, tape them on the walls, or place them throughout the room you are working in. After the child reads the letter or word, they find the matching color and place or fasten the flashcard to the full sheet!
