This game is just like Fruit Basket, but with a little added help for beginning learners. We’re playing a color version to go with The Day the Crayons Quit.
- Box of crayons
- Small colored squares of paper
Set up a circle of chairs for each child. One child will be in the middle without a chair. Pass out a small colored piece of paper to each child (we wrote the color on each card). The child in the middle pulls a crayon out of the box and shares the color. If the crayon is red, everyone with a red card needs to stand up and find a new seat. The child in the center is also going to try to snag a seat and the person left without a chair is goes to the center to call the next number!
